Psychotherapeutic Yoga

Psychotherapeutic Yoga is a somatic and mindfulness approach using a mind-body-energy practice that focuses on your physical, emotional, and mental health. Emily Boston completed Lifeologie's International School of Psychotherapeutic Yoga training at Yogazama Studio in Dallas, Texas and earned her RYT-200 and PYC-200. As a licensed independent mental health professional and a registered and certified Psychotherapeutic Yoga Clinician, she can offer Psychotherapeutic Yoga as a group/class, as well as in a 1-on-1 session. She is trained to use timeless practices of ancient yoga philosophy from the Vedas, Upanishads, Yoga Sutras, and the Bhagavad Gita combined with evidenced-based western clinical approaches. These methods are proven to activate the powerful responses of our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, the flight or fight response, linked to common mental health disorders and their symptoms. You will feel more empowered and grounded, while setting yourself free.

The Embodied Regulation Intensive is a high-touch therapeutic immersion supporting profound nervous system regulation through integrative psychotherapy, embodied yoga practice, and intentional therapeutic community—honoring the yogic understanding that sustainable healing unfolds in connection, not isolation.

Why Community Matters in Healing

Healing is not meant to happen in isolation. Both modern neuroscience and ancient yoga philosophy recognize that regulation, resilience, and self-trust are strengthened in safe relationship. In yoga, this is known as sangha—the intentional community that supports growth, accountability, and belonging.

Within the Embodied Regulation Intensive, community is thoughtfully curated and professionally facilitated to offer relational safety without pressure to perform or disclose. Shared presence, synchronized practice, and witnessing one another in regulated states help the nervous system learn that connection can be supportive rather than overwhelming. This relational context reinforces the work done in individual psychotherapy and embodied practice, allowing insights and regulation to be practiced and integrated in real time.

When healing is supported by both individual care and safe community, clients often experience greater consistency, increased capacity for connection, and a deeper sense of being resourced in daily life. Community becomes not a replacement for individual work, but a stabilizing force that helps healing take root and sustain itself beyond the therapy space.
