Frequently Asked Questions

  • Traditional weekly therapy can offer meaningful support, yet the time between sessions may limit momentum and slow integration. A therapeutic intensive provides a more concentrated and immersive format, reducing week-to-week gaps and allowing for sustained focus on core challenges. This depth of engagement supports accelerated insight, more consistent regulation, and practical integration in real time. For some individuals, this approach may shorten the overall duration of therapy while increasing clarity, relief, and felt progress in the present moment.

  • No. While the intensive includes access to an intentional therapeutic community, it is not group psychotherapy. Individual clinical work remains private, and the community component is professionally facilitated to support shared practice, safety, and relational regulation without clinical processing.

  • Yes. The intensive includes individual psychotherapy sessions provided within the scope of Ohio LISW-S licensure, alongside yoga, integration tools, and ongoing support.

  • This offering is ideal for individuals seeking deeper, more consistent support than traditional weekly therapy—particularly those interested in nervous system regulation, embodied practices, and healing within safe relational connection.

  • No. All yoga practices are trauma-informed, adaptable, and designed to meet participants where they are. Modifications and opt-out options are always encouraged.

  • For some individuals, the intensive may serve as a primary form of care during participation. Clinical recommendations will be discussed collaboratively to ensure this level of support is appropriate.

  • No. The Embodied Regulation Intensive is offered on a month-to-month basis. Participants may discontinue at the end of any billing cycle in accordance with the financial consent policy. This ensures you ALWAYS remain in charge of your care.

  • Therapy intensives are not covered by insurance. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance provider may reimburse a portion of the psychotherapy services included. Coverage varies by plan, so clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to inquire about deductibles, reimbursement rates, and eligible CPT codes. Receipts or superbills may be provided upon request.

  • Yes. The Embodied Regulation Intensive can be used as an adjunct to ongoing therapy. Many clients choose this format to deepen their work, address specific areas of focus, or create momentum when progress feels stalled in a traditional weekly format. Coordination with an existing therapist can be discussed as clinically appropriate.
